Our approach
SETCOM uses AI to make setting up and running a UAE company clearer and faster. We use it to help you, not to make decisions for you. This page explains where we use AI, where we don’t, and the commitments we make.
This website doesn’t use AI to process the information you send us.
Where we use AI
On the SETCOM platform, AI may help with the tasks below. Confirm which are live, in beta or planned
- understanding your business from your answers, and suggesting setup routes and providers that may fit
- reading documents you upload and pre-filling forms, so you don’t type the same details twice
- explaining requirements, fees and deadlines in plain language
- reminding you about renewals and compliance deadlines
AI assists. You decide.
AI suggestions are a starting point, not a decision. You choose your setup route and who you work with. Licences are issued by licensing authorities, and legal, tax and banking decisions are made with qualified providers. SETCOM never submits an application, signs a document or makes a payment on your behalf without your explicit confirmation.
Not professional advice
Answers and suggestions generated by AI are general information. They are not legal, tax, financial or immigration advice. For decisions that depend on your circumstances, speak to a qualified provider.
Accuracy and limits
AI can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and UAE rules change often. Where we can, we show where information comes from. If something looks wrong, check it with the authority or provider, and tell us so we can fix it.
Fair, transparent suggestions
Suggestions are based on the criteria you give us, such as your activity, visas, office needs and budget. If a provider pays SETCOM a fee or commission, we’ll tell you, and any sponsored placement will be labelled.
Your data and AI
- We use your information to provide the service to you, and we never sell it.
- Documents you upload are processed only to complete the task you asked for. Confirm encryption in transit and at rest for uploaded documents
- We don’t allow our AI providers to use your data to train their models. Confirm against each AI provider’s terms

People stay in the loop
You can always ask a person to review an AI suggestion. We monitor the quality of AI outputs and act on the problems we find or that you report.
Report a problem
If an AI feature gives you a wrong, unsafe or unfair result, email hello@setcom.ai with “AI” in the subject line. Please include what you asked and what you saw.
